In recognition of National Sexual Abuse & Violence Awareness Week, the Office of Disability Services will partner with the office of equality opportunity and title IX, student organizations, and faculty to participate in the Clothesline Project from the 5th to the 9th. This is a time to raise awareness of this stigmatized, and often taboo topic. Join ODS as we partner with other campus stakeholders to provide information and resources to help students with negative thoughts and feelings about various circumstances. Shirts representing various TXST, and university communities worldwide will be on display to show the impact of domestic and sexual violence.

In recognition of National Black HIV AIDS Awareness Day, the Office of Disability Services will partner with the Community Action Group Inc. to provide free HIV/AIDS screenings. The event will be held on Tuesday, February 7th from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. in LBJSC rooms 3-6.1, and 3-7.1 and the HUB. The purpose of National Black HIV AIDS Awareness Day is to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and encourage use of prevention and treatment methods in the Black community.
