World AIDS Day 2018
The Office of Disability supports the world-wide effort to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Since 1988 World AIDS Day, December 1st, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease. The Office of Disability is an advocate for the prevention and awareness of HIV and AIDS and holds multiple HIV AIDS related events throughout the year for students, staff and faculty.
On December 3, 2018, the Office of Disability Services partnered with Community Action Inc. Central Texas, the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion, and Health Cats to raise awareness in honor of World AIDS Day.
