The Office of Disability Services (ODS) provides audio books for qualified students registered with ODS, when possible. The ODS strives to complete requests in a timely manner, but please note that requests normally take 10-14 business days to process. Requests are prioritized according by the date received in the ODS office. By providing the ODS with the required information at the beginning of the semester students can assist the ODS requests completed in a timely manner.

The ODS may acquire some textbooks from Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) on CD. Otherwise, readers hired through the ODS will record other materials in audio format. A student who is provided with recorded textbooks and/or equipment will be required to check out and return all materials at the end of the semester for which reading is requested. Failure to return materials will result in a hold placed on the student’s account.
