Career Development

Mission

The mission for career development at Texas State University is to help students not only thrive on campus but also in the workforce after graduation. The Office of Disability Services strives to provide students with opportunities to explore career paths, develop interpersonal skills, and learn about branding. We also want to promote motivation and self-advocacy for students to find their career paths.

This dialogue group introduces students to decision-making related to career exploration, self-assessment of job interests, and conversational skills. The aim of this group is to provide a space where students are able to explore their career selection while practicing interpersonal skills to help navigate the workforce.
